The 25-hour countdown for the Thursday evening launch of PSLV rocket, carrying three Singapore satellites, from Sriharikota began on Wednesday evening, ISRO said.

The mission is codenamed PSLV-C53/DS-EO.

If the launch is successful, the PSLV rocket would have launched 345 foreign satellites belonging to 36 countries since 1999.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
