Rs1K cr loan fraud: FIR against pvt firm

new delhi: The CBI on Friday said it had registered a case and conducted searches at seven locations, including in Delhi and Gurugram, in connection with a bank loan fraud worth Rs 1,028.94 crore. CBI officials said the agency registered the case against Fedderes Electric and Engineering Limited and others, including its directors and promoters: Akhtar Aziz Siddiqi, Sham Sundar Dhawan, Bindu Dogara, Ritushri Sharma, Arun Kumar Joshi and Randhir Jain, on the SBI complaint, alleging they had caused a loss of Rs 1,028.94 crore to a consortium led by it. — TNS

MP well collapse: 11 dead, 19 rescued

vidisha (mp): Eleven bodies were recovered and 19 persons were brought out alive from a well in which several people had fallen while trying to rescue a boy in Madhya Pradesh’s Vidisha district, a minister said on Friday as the rescue operations ended. The incident took place on Thursday when the parapet wall of the well at Lal Patar village in Ganj Basoda gave way. — PTI
