Seven persons were killed and 30 other passengers were injured in two road mishaps in Ajmer and Jodhpur districts on Sunday.

Four passengers died on the spot and 12 others injured when a roadways bus on the way to Ajmer from Jodhpur was hit by a trailer truck near Pipad city of Jodhpur district at 8.30 am. The deceased were identified as Guddi (32), Pankaj (22), Netaram (23) and Kureshbano (63).

In another mishap, three persons, including driver of the Ahmedabad-Jaipur bus, were killed and 18 other passengers got injured as the vehicle hit a divider at Balria village in Ajmer district. The injured were admitted to JLN Hospital in Ajmer. — OC
