The Telangana Police have arrested a 40-year-old school headmaster in the Bhadradri Kothagudem district for allegedly sexually abusing five schoolgirls aged six to 10 years. The accused would invite children to the school on the pretext of teaching them.

He then forced them to watch pornographic content before sexually assaulting them. Earlier this month, one of the victims fell ill and was taken to hospital where she told her mother about the sexual assault.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
