The federation is committed to secure rightful place for primary teachers in society, decent working conditions and conducive environment in the schools for teaching-learning.

Ajayvir Yadav, general secretary, Government School Teachers Association, and former president RN Molla declared their support to agitating teachers.

Yogendra Tiwary, general secretary, JRPSS, said there was so much unrest among the teaching community throughout the country due to discontinuation of old pension scheme and there were many misconceptions regarding the new pension schemes, which had created insecurities among teachers.

A memorandum of demands will be submitted to PM Narendra Modi and Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank.
