Floral tributes were paid to The Tribune’s founder Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia on the 139th anniversary of the publication here today.
Sardar Majithia, who was a great visionary and philanthropist, had founded The Tribune on February 2, 1881, at Lahore (now in Pakistan).
Members of The Tribune Trust Justice SS Sodhi (retired) and Gurbachan Jagat; Bonny Sodhi; Tribune Trust’s General Manager Vinay Verma; Editor, Dainik Tribune, Raj Kumar Singh; Editor, Punjabi Tribune, Swarajbir Singh; and president, The Tribune Employees’ Union, Anil Gupta, paid tributes to Sardar Majithia.
