Twitter tags 'cropped' video of President Kovind greeting PM Modi 'out of context' after oppn shares it with false claims
Chandigarh, July 25
An edited video from outgoing President Ram Nath Kovind’s farewell ceremony went viral allegedly showing that Prime Minister Modi disrespected him.
In the cropped video, it is shown that the PM is not greeting Kovind and instead busy looking at the cameras. The video was shared by opposition leaders with the false claim that the PM “ignored Kovind”.
Twitter later tagged their videos as “out of context”.
‘Such an insult, very sorry Sir. These people are like this, your term is over, now they will not even look at you,’ AAP’s Sanjay Singh tweeted.
