The body of an unidentified woman in her mid-20s was found stuffed in a bag on a road near Nalasopara railway station in Palghar district on Monday, police said.

The bag was found by a patrol team in the early hours of the day, a Nalasopara police station official said, adding that a murder case was registered soon after. PTI

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
