Former UP Governor Aziz Qureshi has been booked for sedition over his alleged derogatory remarks against the Yogi government. The FIR was lodged following a complaint by BJP’s Akash Kumar Saxena in Rampur. Besides, SP MLA from Rae Bareli Manoj Pandey has been booked for making objectionable remarks against the PM. — Agencies

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
