UP: Man, parents get 10 years in jail for killing wife over dowry dispute

A local court has sent a man and his parents to jail for 10 years for killing his wife over dowry dispute.
Also a fine of Rs 35,000 was imposed on each of the convicts—Nikhil, his father Madanlal and mother Vimlesh.
According to the prosecution, Sikha was strangled to death by her in-laws over dowry dispute at Gyanamajra village in Shamli district in 2016. She was married to Nikhil in 2013. — PTI
