Speaking at a function at the Karanjkala block, Yogi assured compensation within a week for all those who lost their lives or crops across the state.

Meanwhile, Mazdoor Kisan Manch president SR Darapuri alleged that the state government had issued a toll free number which farmers had to dial within 72 hours to inform about their loss for compensation. “How can the government expect the traumatised farmers to assess their loss and inform the administration within 72 hours?” he asked.
