Dehradun: Abandoned houses in Pauri district’s ‘ghost’ villages, called so as they have become empty after their residents left them, are proving useful for the administration which is converting them into quarantine centres for migrants. “The utility of the abandoned houses on the peripheries of deserted villages becomes immense,” the BDO of the Rikhnikhal block in Pauri district SP Thapliyal said. ‘Wuhan Diary’ releases in India

New Delhi: The much-talked about ‘Wuhan Diary: Dispatches from a Quarantined City’ by well-known Chinese literary writer Fang Fang, has released in India in the ebook format. Published by HarperNonFiction, the audio will follow on May 26. The book is a compilation of the author’s diary entries and social media posts that document 60 days of lockdown during the pandemic.
