Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the all-party meeting the government has called on Sunday ahead of the winter session of Parliament commencing from November 29. Top government ministers will attend the meeting. The winter session will see the government move Bills to withdraw the controversial farm laws which were enacted by the Parliament in September 2020.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his address to the nation this week said constitutional formalities for repeal of the farm laws would be completed and the laws rolled back in winter session. Ahead of the all-party meet, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla will meet floor leaders on November 27. — TNS
