The police traced 180 stolen mobile phones and handed them back over to their respective owners. Addressing the media, Senior Superintendent of Police Dr Ravjot Grewal said the police had received various complaints of mobile thefts particularly during the Shaheedi Sabha.

The Technical Cell of Police Department Fatehgarh Sahib was deputed to trace the phones. They succeeded in tracing 180 phones with the help of IMEI tracking and the CIER portal. She encouraged locals to immediately visit the nearest Saanjh Kendra and file a report regarding the loss of a phone.
