He said the Rs 245-crore projects would comprehensively upgrade the district’s power infrastructure through repair of old and dilapidated lines, construction of new transmission networks, and installation of high-capacity transformers. These steps would help eliminate power cuts and voltage fluctuations, ensuring smooth and stable power supply to all consumers.

He said, “The government considers electricity a basic necessity and is dedicated to providing it at affordable rates. From industrial growth to modern agriculture, reliable power supply is key to every sector, and our government is ensuring that no resident of Punjab suffers due to power shortages.”

He further added that strengthening the power infrastructure would not only address present-day requirements but also build a robust foundation for the coming decades.
