The second randomisation of voting machines booth-wise was conducted today under the supervision of DC-cum-District Election Officer Preeti Yadav.

The process was carried out in the presence of representatives of various political parties. Additional Deputy Commissioner (Rural Development) Anuprita Johal, District Information and Public Relations Officer Sanjeev Kumar and Election Tehsildar Vijay Chaudhary were present on this occasion.

Preeti Yadav stated that as per the guidelines of the Punjab State Election Commission, 413 voting machines, including 30% extra machines, were randomised in the district. The first randomisation was conducted on December 12.
