Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP, Traffic) Manpreet Singh Sudan stressed that violating traffic rules endangers not only the driver but also passengers and other road users. He emphasised that the primary aim of the police was not merely to impose fines but to instil safe traffic practices among the public. He appealed to all vehicle owners and drivers to follow traffic regulations, cooperate with the police, and contribute towards maintaining a safe traffic system in society.
