Key violations observed during the drive included unauthorised commercial use of private vehicles, absence of valid route permits, non-payment of road tax, lack of fitness certificates, driving without a valid licence or insurance and the transportation of school children without proper authorisation.

The RTO stated that the enforcement drive was part of the broader implementation of the Safe Vahan Policy, which aimed to curb unsafe and unauthorised vehicle operations on public roads, especially those posing a risk to the school children.
