BJP’s SC Morcha launches ‘Basti Sampark Abhiyan’

Fatehgarh Sahib, January 24

The SC Morcha of the BJP launched the Basti Sampark Abhiyan programme at village Pir Jain today. This initiative was spearheaded by SC Morcha state incharge Virender Kashyap and president Sucha Ram Ladher, along with vice-president Paramjit Singh Kainth.

Addressing mediapersons, the leaders said that the campaign had been launched to inform the Scheduled Caste community about various government schemes. They added that through the ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra’, they had established commutation channels with families belonging to the Scheduled Castes in 5,000 locations across Punjab. The leaders said that the focus is to ensure that community members stay well-informed about the welfare schemes introduced by the Central Government.

Ladher said that during the programme, residents had been informed about various schemes such as Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT), Jan Dhan Yojana, and Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana.
