The Senior Citizen Association Sirhind, in collaboration with District Police and other NGOs, organised a concert as part of the “War Against Drugs” campaign.

SSP Subham Aggarwal inaugurated the concert as the chief guest, whereas Jagdeep Singh Cheema senior SAD(B) leader was the guest of honour.

Addressing the gathering, the Aggarwal called upon the people to cooperate with police to eradicate drug menace from the historical district. He said that the war against drugs initiated by the Punjab Police has started yielding good results.

The SSP said it was the high time that the police and the people join hands to save our youths from the menace. —OC
