During the meeting, Yadav reviewed the ongoing anti-drug campaign and instructed SDMs and DSPs to prepare action plans at the sub-division level and share them with the DC office on the same day. She directed officials to regularly visit rehabilitation centers and OOAT (Outpatient Opioid Assisted Treatment) Clinics in their respective areas. They were asked to submit reports on the facilities provided, availability of medicines, staff strength and other necessary requirements.

The DC also emphasised collecting regular feedback from patients and their families to improve the quality of treatment services.

To raise awareness against drug abuse, Yadav instructed officials to organise awareness camps in villages and cities. The camps would highlight harmful effects of drug abuse and encourage affected individuals to seek rehabilitation. She stressed that active community participation was crucial for the success of the drive. —
