Eqbal Inn Ladies Club celebrates Women’s Day

Dedicated towards women empowerment, the Eqbal Inn Ladies Club organised an even to celebrate the International Women’s Day here on the premises of hotel Eqbal Inn under the chairmanship of Kamalpreet Singh Sethi, managing director.

At least 150 members of the club participated in the celebrations.

Sixty women members of the club were honoured on the occasion for their services in their respective fields.

The club, meanwhile, also organised a “Red Carpet Walk” for its members during the celebrations organised for women’s day, drawing enthusiastic participation.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
