The Punjabi Literature Department of Punjabi University organised an interaction with the eminent figure Kirpal Singh Pannu, associated with the field of Punjabi Computing. He shared valuable insights about the usage and significance of computers on the occasion. Pannu provided information on Punjabi fonts and emphasised the importance of unicode during the session.

The techniques of creating micro-content during computer typing were also discussed during the session. Dr Rajvinder Singh, Assistant Professor in the Punjabi Department, told the students about the importance of Punjabi in computing.

Department Head Dr Parmeet Kaur expressed her gratitude to Pannu for enlightening everyone present, appreciating his contribution in exploring the significance of Punjabi in the realm of computing.
