The call for a two-day dharna on February 17 and 18 at the residences of state BJP president Sunil Jakhar, senior BJP leader Capt Amarinder Singh and others was given on Friday. Meanwhile, toll plazas on the Patiala-Chandigarh highway continued to be levy-free under the control of the union. Led by Joginder Singh Ugrahan, it is one of the biggest farm unions of the state and has a massive support base in Malwa, especially Sangrur.
