A couple and their three children sustained serious injuries after a roof of their kutcha house came crashing down at Mandaur village in Nabha this morning. The family was sleeping when the roof collapsed. The couple, who are labourers, had moved to the village with their children just two months ago for work.

They have been admitted to Government Rajindra Hospital. The village Sarpanch, Harpreet Singh, and local residents chipped in for meeting their medical expenses.
