Governor confers award on Multani Mal Modi College for contribution to Red Cross fund

The award was presented during the annual general meeting of the Indian Red Cross Society, Punjab branch, held at Punjab Raj Bhawan, Chandigarh.
Tarun Kumar Modi, chairman, Modi Educational Society, expressed his gratitude for the award. “This award is a validation of the college’s commitment to social service and its dedication to ideals of the Red Cross. We will continue to work towards promoting humanitarian values and serving the community,” he said.
Prof Surinder Lal, college management committee member, said, “Our college is committed to serving the marginalised and deprived sections of society without any discrimination.”
