Harsharan Kaur Trehan has been appointed the Engineer-in-Chief, Material Management Wing, Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL). An alumnus of Delhi College of Engineering, Trehan had joined the PSPCL (erstwhile the PSEB) in 1987 as an assistant engineer. Officials of the PSPCL said she has become the first woman technocrat to reach the position in the state power corporation.
