SKM leader Jagjit Singh Dalewal while addressing the mediapersons today after meeting agitating farmers here, said that it is shocking and unfortunate that the Haryana Government has honoured the police officers who allegedly shot at the agitating farmers killing Subhkaran Singh and injuring many others, which reminds one of the infamous General Dyer who was honoured by the British for the massacre of innocent people at Jallianwala Bagh.

He said that it was former PM Lal Bahadur Shastri who had given the slogan of Jai Jawan Jai Kisan. But unfortunately, the present dispensation not only brought down the position of farmers but also of the soldiers by bringing adhocism in the recruitment of soldiers.
