On Friday, a team led by District Epidemiologist Dr Sumeet Singh inspected the on-groundwork of anti-larval teams in various localities to assess the containment measures.
Officials said special drives have been initiated to clear stagnant water and intensify fogging in vulnerable areas to check the spread of dengue and chikungunya.
