The camp was inaugurated by Fatehgarh Sahib MLA Lakhbir Singh Rai. He said that as per the directions of the chief minister, Jan Suvidha camps have been started to solve the problems of people at the village level. He said these camps were proving a boon for rural people as their grievances were redressed at doorstep and they didn’t have to make rounds of the government offices. All the heads of departments sit under one roof and solve the problems on the spot.

He added that the CM’s Support Centre and CM Windows have been set up at the district administrative complex, where people can lodge their state-level complaints, whereas earlier they had to go to Chandigarh. He said that the state government was committed to redress their grievances.

Fatehgarh Sahib SDM Ishmat Vijay Singh, DSP Sukhnaj Singh and officials of other departments were also present on the occasion.
