Man’s body found near flyover on Sirhind bypass
Fatehgarh Sahib, February 19
The police today recovered a body of a man along a road near a flyover on the Sirhind bypass. The deceased was identified as Krishna Kumar (35) of Brahman Majra Sirhind. The family members of the deceased said he worked as a labourer. They said Krishna went on his scooter on Sunday, but he did not return home.
Today afternoon, when children came to play in a field along the Sirhind bypass road they noticed a body lying there and informed passersby. They informed the police. The police ruled out murder as there was no injury mark on the body. ASI Manjeet Singh the body was shifted to the Civil Hospital for a post-mortem.
