Patiala: A resident of Samana was reportedly murdered in Dubai this week. Police said the victim’s body had reached here. However, no complaint had been filed by his family members as of now.

Inspector Ranbir Singh said the family members of the victim, Feroze Khan, alleged that he had gone to Dubai with help of some travel agents. “The matter is not yet clear as we are yet to have a look at his files,” he said.

The 22-year-old man was assured the work permit, but later he found out that he was on a tourist visa. The man was reportedly murdered and an attempt was made to burn the body. — TNS
