To strengthen the party ahead of the General Elections, the SAD has appointed 12 circle presidents. An event was organised by the party to welcome the new recruits at the Fatehgarh Sahib Gurdwara, where the national general secretary of the party, Jagdeep Singh Cheema, and the state youth president, Sarbjit Singh Jhinjhar, honoured them.

Addressing the gathering, they said the new recruits would strengthen the party at the grassroots as they would be in direct contact with residents of their respective areas.
