Patiala, February 19

Patiala MP Preneet Kaur and Public Works Department (PWD) Minister Vijay Inder Singla today inaugurated a newly constructed overbridge on the Chhoti Nadi.

The overbridge has been constructed at a cost of Rs 2.50 crore. Preneet said, “The overbridge will lead to development around the Sanauri Adda and will also benefit those going to Pehowa, Sanaur, Devigarh, Balbehra, Cheeka and Kaithal, among others.”

Singla said the overbridge being constructed on the Badi Nadi will be completed by April. He said, “The government is spending Rs 37 crore on development of the area, including recarpeting of Patiala-Pehowa road, construction of an overbridge on the Badi Nadi at a cost of Rs 3.50 crore and various other works.”
