Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology (TIET) Registrar and LM Thapar School of Management, Derabassi, Director Gurbinder Singh has been inducted as a member of the Punjab Pollution Control Board (PPCB).

The new appointments are expected to strengthen the board’s efforts in ensuring environmental protection and sustainable development across Punjab. Gurbinder Singh, who has extensive academic and administrative experience, said he was committed to contributing towards a cleaner and greener Punjab.

“I have always been an advocate of clean environment and pollution related issues and these are always close to my heart. Now I can contribute further as a member of the PPCB,” he added.
