The Municipal Corporation has identified over 50 house owners for obtaining illegal water connections in the city. The MC officials said the violators would be challaned and action would be taken as per law.

Municipal Commissioner Aaditya Uppal said after identification of over 280 cases of diarrhoea at Jhill village in the city the MC had formed teams to identify illegal water connections and installation of illegal hydraulic pumps.
