Patiala: Police school shines in DAV state games

The students of Police DAV Public School, Patiala, brought laurels to their school by performing well in air rifle shooting at the state-level games.

Krish won the gold medal in the Under-17 boys’ rifle shooting while Manpreet Kaur brought laurels to the school by winning the bronze medal. The officiating principal, Sukhjit Kaur, congratulated both winners and thanked their coaches, Zora Singh and Jaspreet Kaur. She said the golden day was the result of the hard work and tireless efforts of the players and their coaches.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
