Former Professor Subhash Chander Sharma, the former Head of the Postgraduate Department of English at Government Mohindra College, Patiala, received an international honour when his poetry book ‘Moments of Epiphany’ was released by Canadian Member of Parliament Sonia Sidhu in Brampton, Canada.

Prof Sharma has conducted over 500 national and international programmes. He has served as the president of several prominent social welfare and literary organisations, including Citizens for Social Action, Rotary Club, Patiala, the Association of NGOs Patiala, Hindi Bhasha Sammelan, Sahitya Kala Parishad and Birji Foundation, among others.

In recognition of his contributions, he has been awarded the prestigious ‘Service above Self’ award and Paul Harris Fellow Medal by Rotary International.

“I am blessed to be able to pursue my passion for writing, which has allowed me to serve readers across different languages,” he says.
