Patiala schools shine in CBSE results

Students from schools across the district delivered a stellar performance in the recently announced Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) board examination results, achieving new academic milestones and bringing home laurels.

Sri Guru Harkrishan Public School’s Jatin Sharma of commerce stream emerged as the top scorer with 95.8% marks followed by Samriti’s 95.2℅, Tarandeep Kaur’s 94.6℅, Garima Sodhi’s 94℅, HarveenKaur’s 93.6℅, Ashuneet’s 93.2℅ and Arshpreet Kaur’s 92.6℅.

Sushila Devi Public School posted a 100 per cent results for Class XII, with students bringing laurels. In the humanities stream, Simran stood first by scoring 97% and Palakdeep Kaur stood second by scoring 82%. In commerce Group Karan Vir Singh stood first by scoring 77 %. School Director HK Sandhu congratulated the staff members and students.

Sri Aurobindo International School students also did well in the exams.

The top-performing students, based on initial analysis, included Tanvi 97.4%, Kimaya 97.2%, Manan Deep Singh 97.2% and Manav Purohit 95.6%. The school also boasted of 28 students securing marks above 90% in the Class X results.

The Class XII results saw Daksh Rishi of the sciences stream emerge as the top scorer with an impressive 95.6%. He was closely followed by Lovish (93.4%), Divyash Kapoor (91.8%), and Tanish Chawla (91.6%). The commerce stream also witnessed exceptional achievements, with Kusum Malhotra leading with 97%. Other high-achievers include Manthan Kumar (95.2%), Drishti (94.6%), Vanshika Gupta (93.2%), Prabhkirat Singh (92.8%), Deepanshu Damandeep Bawa (91.6%), Parth Thareja (90%), and Garvit Gupta (90%).
