The Black Elephant Cricket Club (BECC) clinched the Ninth Little Champ Cricket Tournament defeating SCA Sonepat by eight wickets. Aryan Yadav stayed unbeaten and scored 83 runs to achieve the target. The prizes were distributed by Col Atul Sharma, chairman, BECC, who was the chief guest.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
