As part of the ‘Swachhata Hi Seva’ campaign, the NSS department of Khalsa College, Patiala, organised a poster making contest under the theme ‘Clean today, green tomorrow, our responsibility, our future’.

NSS volunteers highlighted the importance of sanitation and waste management through their posters. In this competition, Muskanpreet Kaur of BBA (part II) bagged the first prize, while Mehkpreet Kaur of BCom (part I) and Jasmin Kaur BA (part II) bagged the second and third prizes, respectively. The judgement of the posters was done by the head of the fine arts department, Manveer Kaur. Principal Dharminder Singh Ubha said such competitions were organised as per the instructions issued by the Government of India and the UGC.
