The Patiala Music Festival, being organised by the North Zone Cultural Centre (NZCC) at the historic Kalidas Auditorium here from December 18, is set to be a big draw. A poster featuring vocalists and instrumentalists from across the country who will perform live at the event was unveiled at the head office in.

The four-day classical musical soiree will commence with a rendition by Shantanu Bhattacharya of Patiala Gharana on December 18.

Others set to perform include Gunjan Channa from Shimla, Alankar Singh from Patiala, Ronkini Gupta from Mumbai, Uday Prakash Malik from Delhi and Saurabh Vashisht from Jaipur.

Music maestros Yogesh Shamsi, Tanmay Dawachke and Rajendra Prasanna will feature in the show-stopping recital. The fest will conclude on December 22 with a performance by Anupama Bhagwat from Bangalore.

Performances will begin at 6 pm each day and on 10 am on the final day.
