Punjab Health and Family Welfare minister Dr Balbir Singh has announced new initiatives to support sanitation workers and Class 4 employees in government hospitals who aspire to advance their careers.

Opportunities will be provided for the employees to pursue further education and receive required training for promotions.

The minister celebrated the New Year by spending time with sanitation workers and Class 4 employees at Mata Kaushalya Government Hospital. He served them food, listened to their concerns, and appreciated their contributions.

Speaking on the occassion, Singh said, "The minister further announced that sanitation workers and Class IV employees who have completed Class 10 or 12 will be supported to pursue advanced courses such as Nursing Assistant, OT Assistant, or Paramedic training.” — TNS
