Punjabi University Vice-Chancellor Professor Arvind, a renowned physicist, delivered a lecture titled ‘What is Quantum Physics’ at the Senate Hall of the university. The lecture was organised by the student association of Punjabi University.

He said that in the 21st century, subjects like quantum physics are making rabid advancements. “We need to understand this subject and know these things carefully, so that we can move accordingly for a better and brighter future,” Prof Arvind said.

The lecture was specifically organised for research enthusiasts and students who do not have a background in science subjects, so they could gain fundamental knowledge of the subject.

After the lecture, an extensive question-answer session was held with Professor Arvind.
