Punjabi University renews MoU with leading hospital
Patiala, July 9
Punjabi University has renewed its MoU with Fortis Hospital, Mohali, for three years. Fortis had signed an agreement with the university two years ago under which services were to be given to the employees of the university and their families at CGHS rates.
The renewed agreement would be for three years, during which CGHS rates would be given in five specialties, including cardiology and CTVS, oncology, ophthalmology, arthroscopic surgery with sports medicine, and gastroenterology.
Senior Medical Officer Dr Regina Maini said they have signed MoUs with 48 hospitals. She said the facilities are being given to employees, staff, and their dependents, along with current students of the university.
