In response to a case involving alleged fake admissions at a college affiliated with the Punjabi University, Dean of the College Development Council, informed that the varsity has initiated action following directives from the Vice Chancellor.

A formal notice has been issued to the college concerned, instructing them to submit a detailed explanation within two working days. Additionally, a three-member high-level inquiry committee has been constituted to thoroughly investigate the matter.

The Dean said random inspections will be conducted from time to time to prevent any such irregularities in the future.

“These measures reflect the University’s firm commitment to maintaining transparency, accountability, and academic integrity across all its affiliated institutions,” he said.
