The police are conducting raids to apprehend Yadwinder Singh, the Sarpanch of Wazirabad village, absconding along with his family since been booked in fraud case.

The complainant, BDPO Sirhind, had alleged that the sarpanch had withdrawn lakhs fraudulently using forged signatures. A look out notice have already been issued against him.

SSP Subhan Aggarwal has formed the SIT to be supervised by SP (Investigation) and led by Nikhil Garg DSP (D) to probe the case.

Meanwhile, Gurinder Singh Dhillon, chairperson Market Committee Sirhind a senior AAP leader while talking to The Tribune said that it is a very serious issue as the reputation of the party is at stake, he will call on the CM and party President Aman Arora to brief them about the case and demand an in depth investigation.
