Rakshit Kaushal of Delhi Public School topped the district in the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class XII examinations, the results of which were declared this morning. He scored 99 per cent marks in non-medical stream.

Samya Manchanda of Ryan International School and Jagdeep Singh of Budha Dal Public School (BDPS), Samana, grabbed the joint second position in the district. The duo scored 98.8 per cent marks.

Samya is a student of commerce, while Jagdeep is from humanities.

Garima (medical) of BDPS, Patiala, and Gursirat Kaur Dhindsa (non-medical) of GB International School, Nabha, bagged the joint third position with 98.6 per cent marks.

Santosh Shukla, principal of DPS, said in all, 32 students scored 90 per cent and above. He congratulated Rakshit for his achievement.

Pooja Sharma, principal, Ryan International, appreciated the students for their exemplary achievement. Meanwhile, the school management lauded the efforts of the staff and the students.

Harpreet Kaur, principal, BDPS, Patiala, expressed her delight at this success.
