MLA Fatehgarh Sahib Lakhbir Singh Rai today inaugurated the work of laying sewer lines in village Tarkhan Majra that is to be completed at the cost of Rs 20 lakh.

Addressing the gathering, he said the state government is committed to provide all basic civic facilities and services to the people of the villages on the lines of the cities. He said the state government is providing various facilities for the welfare of all sections of the society and has also taken strict measures to eliminate corruption. He also called upon the village sarpanches to rise above petty politics for the development of their villages.
