The student union got the hostel timings for girl students amended. The new timings are from 4 pm to 7 pm.

The PSU district secretary, Gurdas Singh, stated that the college administration suspended a student yesterday for protesting in support of farmers, which was a dictatorial order.

The union continued its protest for six hours today.

Student leader Gaganjit Kaur said the students also succeeded in getting fulfilled their other demands, such as extending the girls’ hostel timings to 7 pm.
